On a practical point of view... Pag-aasawa is a lifetime committment, if you are not ready for it, do not make a committment.

Live-in (as in trial marriage). It doesn't mean that if everybody is doing it, that is correct. Anything you do that is exclusive to Husbands and Wives is a sin.

Abortion.... plain and simple killing of the Unborn. The bible says... Thou shall not Kill.

Separation is a "legal term" (help me here PUNZI)... but you are not allowed to re-marry (sa Pilipinas). But on the other hand, this is what Jesus has to say about DIVORCE...

Matthew 19:1-12

Divorce
1When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?"

4"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'[a] 5and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? 6So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

7"Why then," they asked, "did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?"

8Jesus replied, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."

10The disciples said to him, "If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry."

11Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage[c]because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."

My two cents

Bubuhayin ko lang 'to...

Agree ako sa lahat ng sinabi ni Tatay Alex...

Pero paano naman yung situation ko? Am I living in sin? I'm a single mom. Huh

Very personal pero I'll try to comment.

1st, it was a blessing to have a son/daughter so when the baby was born, it's God's will as he allowed life to come to this earth

2nd, Living in sin is a manner of continuously doing the sin without any feeling of remorse (tama ba spelling?)

3rd, Go to the priest and ask some counselling. Confess afterwards.

4th, and the best of all. God is merciful and just. He always show and gives mercy for those who seek and gives pardon for those who asks.

God bless you.

Bigla naman akong naiyak nung nabasa ko comment niyo kuya alex... Cry

1st, Having my daughter is truly a blessing. For the first time in my life, nagkaroon ako ng dahilan para lumaban at mabuhay.

2nd, Tama po ang spelling hehe...

3rd, My brother is a priest (okay, umiiyak na talaga ako...) and that's why I feel so guilty about what happened. My brother was in Italy the time I got pregnant. I was very depressed and he would call me almost every week  - to accomplish his role as a priest-counselor, a friend and most of all as my elder brother. Malaki ang naitulong niya sa akin. Pinalakas niya ang loob ko at inilapit ako sa Panginoon.
4th, It's one of the reasons why I'm serving the Church now.

But of course, sino naman ang may ayaw mag-asawa? Everybody needs a partner. Wink

I hope its tears of blessed assurance na what you've done was given to you with a purpose and forgiveness is just one prayer away.. God Bless you.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (New International Version)
13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Daniel 9:8-10 (New International Version)
8 O LORD, we and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. 9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed the LORD our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets.

1 John 1:8-10 (New International Version)
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
